Top Ten Tuesday: Most Anticipated Releases For The First Half of 2016

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week I am listing the top ten book releases I am excited for in the first half of 2016!

1.  The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater

Surprise, surprise.

2.  This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab

Never once has Victoria Schwab let me down and I have no doubts this novel will do just the same.

3.  Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare

Although I am admittedly a bit hesitant about yet another Shadowhunters book, I won't deny being excited, as well.

4.  A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro

The title alone is enough to make me want to read this.  That, and the great reviews.

5.  A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab

Oh, look, yet another Victoria Schwab book!

6.  A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Sarah J. Maas, ACOTAR number two...  Does this really require an explanation?

7.  Passenger by Alexandra Bracken

So close, yet so far away...

8.  The Last Star by Rick Yancey

The final book of The 5th Wave series.  I am sad to see it go but curious on how it can possibly end since, well, the alien apocalypse is not exactly an easy thing to overcome.

9.  A Criminal Magic by Lee Kelly

As soon as this was compared to The Night Circus, I was sold.

10.  All the Birds in the Sky by Charlie Jane Anders

Science-fiction/fantasy novels are my true loves, so I hope this one will be, too.

  2. Yes, Lady Midnight! I don't think you can ever have too much Shadowhunter-ness in life XD (hopefully it will be as good as the rest of the books?!?) WHAT IS THIS A BOOK BEING COMPARED TO THE NIGHT CIRCUS??!! If this is for real, I need it. Since you mentioned The Raven King, I thought I'd let you know that... I am about to begin reading The Raven Boys. I'm excited! Fantastic list, Erin! ♡

  5. We click on some of the books we picked! 2016 sounded really close, but it's like so far away when it comes to the publishing/releasing date of these books, isn't it? Now the long wait for these books starts! Lol! :D

Anyway, I wish you more great books to read this coming 2016! Cheers, Erin! ❤

  6. I'm SO EXCITED for This Savage Song and A Study in Charlotte! One's by a tried-and-true author whose work I love, and one's a debut, but both are promising enough that I'm sure they'll be amazing.

Thanks for stopping by my best of 2015 list, and I hope you enjoy My Heart and Other Black Holes as much as I did. Happy New Year!
