Top Ten Tuesday: Books Bookworms Will Love

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.  This is a master list of some of my favorite books.  All of them can't be here, but most of them are.  If anyone asked me, "What book should I read?" I would most likely say one of these ones, which all hold a special place in my heart.  All bookworms, like me, would love these.

1.  The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.

Whatever genre who like, whatever your age--it doesn't matter.  Neil Gaiman has something for everyone, all of which are written so brilliantly I cannot possibly begin to explain.

2.  And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

If you have ever had any interest in picking up a mystery novel, no matter how vague, Agatha Christie is your best bet.

3.  1984 by George Orwell

Dystopians rose drastically in popularity in the past few years, but this is the classic that started it all and has a lot to show for it.

4.  All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

This is a haunting novel set in the middle of World War II, following both a blind French girl and a German boy, capturing their fictional but touching stories in gorgeous writing.

5.  Vicious by V.E. Schwab

Vicious isn't your typical superhero novel.  In fact, the characters are closer to villains, but that is what makes it so intriguing.

6.  A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle

Whatever your age, this book is so unique and mind altering, with confusing and unbelievable twists of the imagination, you won't be able to help but love it.

7.  The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

This is a surreal story of ley lines, lost kings and dead things, all coalescing to form a beauty of a series with poetic, lyrical writing.

8.  We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

This is, ultimately, a tragedy of a novel in the best possible way.  I don't know how else to describe it.

9.  Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling

This world that J.K. Rowling brought to life is pure magic.  Stories don't really get better than this.

10.  Watership Down by Richard Adams

This is the only book I ever dared to call my favorite.

  1. Omg. We Were Liars. THE TEARS. THE TEARS ARE ALL FLOODING BA--

*cough* Sorry. Got a little carried away there.

The Raven Boys have been on my TBR for quite a long time now. My friend has been forci- err, asking me to read it for centuries. Unfortunately, I've been too busy reading a lot of other books. But I think I can find time to read it this month after binge reading ToG! Hopefully I'll love it as much as other people do.❤️
