Top Ten Tuesday: Books on my Autumn TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week is another seasonal TBR list!  In case you didn't know, I am atrocious at sticking to TBR's.  Until I did the Summer version of this, I had never planned one before!  I'm a mood reader--but that's a post for another day.

My dad and my brother have been bugging me to read this for years.  It is supposed to be one of the better science fiction books out there, which is something I would not object to.  Lately, I have been severely disappointed in the lack of unique science fiction books being published--especially in YA.

I know, I know--the shame.  This book was released--to much excitement--earlier this month.  I would have read it, but I already had a queue of books lined up.  Currently, it is taking me entire eternities to complete a book.  This is, quite honestly, school's fault.  Homework is no one's best friend.

This will hopefully be my first Stephen King novel!  Fun story:  I love horror.  However, I rarely find a movie or book that actually manages to scare the socks off of me.  So why not try out the King of horror himself?  Literally, the King.  As in, Stephen King.  Okay, I'll stop now.

It is really about time that I get around to reading this book.  I'm resolute:  I will crack open this book when the leaves start to fall.  It must be done.

I gave a five out of five stars to the last Agatha Christie book I read, so it seems about time to read another one.  I swear, if I can't guess the ending to this one either...  I'll probably just complain about it to my dad.  Let's be honest here.

That's all!  Considering the fact that I am apparently horrendous at committing to books ahead of time, a smaller list should (hopefully) help.  We'll see.  I make no promises.

  1. I also am awful at following a list of books. I rather just decide as I go! Great list though and good luck with sticking to it!

  3. Planning and completing id hard for us mood readers, isn't it? Good luck with your list - if you need help I'll cast a magical reading spell. :-D Ugh, I wish a knew a spell to just... mute ALL school work. That would be nice. I SO NEED TO READ AN AGATHA CHRISTIE BOOK. I love trying to work out the endings of stories! BUT AAAH DON'T EVEN TALK TO ME ABOUT TOG ETC. I'M SO BEHIND! As usual this is an awesome list, Erin! ♡

    1. It really is! I'm glad someone shares the pain. XD I might need that magical reading spell of yours. Although a School Cancelling Spell might be better! School just gets in the way of everything. In your case, it gets in the way of reading some Agatha Christie! DO IT! I dare you! I can't wait until you catch up on TOG--there's so much to fangirl over. Thanks for commenting, Rebekah!
