Top Ten Tuesday: 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn't

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.  Today I am shamefully listing all the 2015 book releases I meant to get to...but never did.

1.  Everything, Everything

I have no excuse for this one.

2.  The Accident Season

Considering I didn't know this was a thing until nearing the end of the year, I am giving myself a free pass.

3.  The Wrath and the Dawn

Everybody, and I do mean everybody, seems to have read this.  Except for me, that is.

4.  Queen of Shadows

I am actually ashamed about not having read this one yet.

5.  Six of Crows

I hadn't planned on reading this one soon until recently.  This is because Rebekah really enjoyed it, and she has excellent taste.

6.  Red Queen

Oh, the hype scares me about this one.

7.  Illuminae

This one seems to have only just exploded across the internet and caught my full attention.

8.  The Invasion of the Tearling

It has now been a year since I read the first book in this series, and it is high time I read the sequel.

9.  Uprooted

Everyone was loving this last summer, and I was super excited to read it...and then I didn't.

10.  The Rose Society

I intended to read this sequel as soon as it was released, but that seems not to have happened...

  8. YES YOU NEED TO READ SIX OF CROWS! Ooh, now the pressure is on - I hope you like it or I'll feel so bad for making you read it! I have The Queen of the Tearling on my shelf and yeah... no excuse for not reading it. I didn't know there was a sequel. Yes, The Wrath and the Dawn, I know nothing about it except that everyone seems to have read it! Also, Illuminae, everyone seems to love it but I don't have a clue what it is about! XD As always, a brilliant list, Erin! ♡

    1. I KNOW, I KNOW! And I trust your opinion--I'll have to like it. The Queen of the Tearling is slow but has real potential. I think you would enjoy it! And everyone has not only READ The Wrath and the Dawn, but LOVED it. I think we must read that one soon. Thanks so much for commenting, Rebekah! ❤

  9. DUDE, YOU GOTTA READ THE WRATH AND THE DAWN AND THE ACCIDENT SEASON. And also Illuminae and Six of Crows. *nods sagely* No pressure just....just go read them all nooooow. AHEM. Oh but to be perfectly awful? I don't think Red Queen is anywhere near as good as they hype says XD But I may just be a crabby ol' reader, so have fun if you do read it. ;D

    1. I KNOW, I KNOW. I am BEYOND BEHIND ON ALL THE BOOKS. The hype scares me off, truthfully. I have heard some unhappy reviews of Red Queen, but I think I'll just have to see for myself, huh? XD Thanks for commenting, Cait! ❤
